Precision Raceworks B58 Gen 1 Gauntlet HPFP Upgrade

OVERVIEW

Unlike low-pressure pump upgrades that address fuel delivery to the engine bay, the Gauntlet is a high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) upgrade — the pump responsible for pressurizing fuel for direct injection. On heavily tuned B58 Gen 1 engines, the factory HPFP becomes a hard ceiling on power regardless of low-pressure supply. The Precision Raceworks Gauntlet HPFP Upgrade is built to remove that ceiling.

SPECS

• +70% fuel flow over the stock pump (68% confirmed on PRW's spec sheet), ~4% more than PRW's earlier "Big Bore" HPFP
• Power potential: up to 1,022 whp on gasoline, 730 whp on E85, at up to 240 bar / 24 MPa / 3,500 psi max operating pressure
• Cast stainless steel construction; leak- and pressure-tested; each unit serialized with its own flow test data sheet
• Tested through 60,000+ miles of real-world driving, plus CFD analysis, kinematic/structural testing, and 120+ hours of dyno bench testing
• Tested across pump gas, E85, and blends in between
