OVERVIEW

The NGK 94201 (SILZKGR8B8S) Laser Iridium spark plug is the OE-spec replacement plug for the Gen 1 B58 engine. Genuine NGK — not a knockoff.

SPECS

• Fine-wire iridium-tipped center electrode and platinum-tipped ground electrode for slow wear rate, stable idle, and superior anti-fouling
• Trivalent metal plating for anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties
• Same heat range as stock, capable of handling 700+ WHP and 100% E85 on tuned applications
• Factory-preset gap at 0.030"; recommend closing to 0.018"-0.022" for aftermarket turbo applications
• Six plugs required per engine (B58 is inline-6)

TECH RESOURCES

• Recommended replacement interval: every 45,000 miles stock, every 20,000 miles on tuned cars above stock boost
• This plug is for Gen 1 B58 only — it is NOT the correct plug for Gen 2/3 B58 or S58 engines, since using it there can cause idle misfire and poor combustion at wide-open throttle; for Gen 2/3 B58 and S58, use the NGK 96206 instead
• Beware of counterfeit NGK plugs sold cheaply on marketplaces — these are genuine NGK product
