Mishimoto Performance Oil Cooler - BMW G8X M2/M3/M4

OVERVIEW

The G8X M2, M3, and M4 were designed with efficiency in mind — but that comes at a cost. The stock oil cooler sits on the undercarriage, parallel to the road surface. That placement pulls air through the core aerodynamically, but it also leaves the cooler exposed to scrapes, bumps, curbs and road debris, a real risk for anyone pushing the car on track.

Mishimoto replaced the stock tube-and-fin cooler with a bar-and-plate core and CNC-machined end tanks, delivering a 41% increase in core volume and a 35.7% thicker core for superior cooling efficiency and pressure tolerance. It fits directly in place of the stock unit and retains the factory seals and bash guards, so airflow from the fresh air ducts is unaffected and the cooler stays protected.
