Precision Raceworks Solid State Relay Upgrade Kit

Overview

Most fuel pump activation setups only give you simple on/off relay control — the pump is either running full blast or off. The Solid-State Relay Upgrade Kit changes that: it converts your fuel pump system to full PWM control, combining Precision Raceworks' Solid-State Relay Fuel Pump Interface Module with a high-quality solid-state relay in a single plug-and-play kit. Instead of hammering the pump at full output regardless of demand, the pump only works as hard as the engine actually needs.

SPECS

• Recommended frequency: 200 Hz — this is the sweet spot for optimal control and stability when paired with a Motiv Re|Flex+ controller
• Current handling: ~20A continuous, up to 80A burst — sized correctly for Walbro pumps
• Plug-and-play compatibility: Designed for PRW's V2 Pump Activation Harness (identifiable by the Deutsch 4-pin connector near the pump connector) — no wiring modifications needed
• One kit per pump: Each pump being PWM-controlled needs its own kit — a dual-pump AFS.800 setup, for example, needs two kits
• Universal fitment: Not vehicle-specific — works with any PRW pump activation harness setup, BMW or otherwise
• Why PWM over simple relay control: Cooler fuel (less heat soak at low duty cycles), less pump wear (progressive ramp-up vs. constant full-output cycling), quieter operation, more stable system pressure, tunable output scaled to boost/RPM/load, and cleaner electronics with less interference
