Mishimoto Skid Plate - BMW G8X M2/M3/M4

OVERVIEW

The engineers at BMW did an excellent job striking a balance between exceptional power and cooling in the G8X M2, M3 and M4 — but that meant positioning components in precarious places. Placed on the undercarriage parallel to the road's surface, the G8X oil cooler is vulnerable to bumps, scrapes, debris and other road hazards.

Mishimoto recognized this while developing their G8X performance oil cooler and built this skid plate to solve it. Constructed from high-strength 5052 aluminum with a cross-cut design, it protects your stock or Mishimoto oil cooler while still allowing ample airflow. Recessed mounting hardware leaves a smooth surface so nothing snags on obstacles or shears a mounting bolt.
