Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can (CCV Side) - Toyota GR Supra (A90/A91)
OVERVIEW
The tag-team between Toyota and BMW produced a Supra teeming with power, technology and efficiency — but the inevitable side effect of blow-by still found its way to the B58. Left unchecked, that leads to carbon build-up on the intake valves and a Supra that gradually slows down.
This kit uses the patent-pending Mishimoto 2-Port Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can with a 50-micron bronze filter and internal baffle to separate oil and fuel from crankcase vapors. Constructed from billet 6061 aluminum and sealed with Viton O-rings, it mounts in line with the B58's CCV system and defends the intercooler, intake system and VANOS system from carbon build-up while helping maintain proper octane levels to reduce potential detonation.
Unlike most air-oil-separator (AOS) systems, Mishimoto catch cans are not heated — so all blow-by condenses in the can, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors. AOS systems typically drain that back into the oil pan; this traps it and keeps it out of the engine permanently.

TECH RESOURCES
- Installation instructions (PDF): Mishimoto MMBCC-SUP-20CBE Install Guide
- Tools needed: 6/7/8/10/16mm sockets, T30 Torx bit, 1/4" ratchet and extension, 3/8" ratchet, 17mm and 19mm wrenches, 2.5mm and 8mm Allen keys, pick tool, heat gun, and Teflon tape
- Installation note: 22 in-lbs (2.5 Nm) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. Operating range is 18–27 in-lbs (2–3 Nm) — do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3 Nm)
- Care & maintenance: drain the catch can every 3,000 miles and inspect the kit every 10,000 miles for loose or worn components
- After installation, check the contents every 1,000 miles until a baseline is established. Blow-by accumulation varies with ambient temperature and driving conditions — the contents must not rise above the internal baffle
- Pairs with our Mishimoto B58TU Charge Pipe, Performance Heat Exchanger, and Aluminum Radiator Kit for a complete B58 cooling package
- This is the CCV-side catch can
