OVERVIEW

The S58 twin-turbocharged engine in the G8X BMW uses an air-to-water intercooler system, where coolant manages intake air temperatures. The factory setup works fine under mild conditions and stock power, but quickly becomes a limiting factor during aggressive driving, causing heat soak and robbing power. The AMS Heat Exchanger solves this with a 35% larger core and a dramatically more efficient design — the largest drop-in unit on the market, requiring no cutting or modification.
