AMS Performance BMW B58 Intake Manifold

OVERVIEW

As horsepower numbers rise, so do temperatures through the BMW B58's intercooling system. The AMS Performance BMW B58 Intake Manifold replaces the restrictive factory piece with a parallel twin-core air-to-water intercooler design, routing coolant from the middle of the unit rather than end-to-end for dramatically reduced pressure drop and faster heat rejection. The AMS SnailWorks Engineering Team verified airflow distribution using CFD analysis, achieving airflow equalization within 0.5% across all cylinder ports.

• 1250+ HP rated parallel air-to-water intercooler cores
• 135% larger core area than the OEM manifold for superior cooling
• Auxiliary port fuel rail with -8AN side ports for expanded fueling options
• CFD-verified A356 T6 cast aluminum plenum and runner design
• Properly angled port injection nozzles aimed at the intake valve and combustion chamber
• Additional -4AN ORB ports on the plenum for vacuum source points
• Fully compatible with A/C, power steering, oil filter cap, and other factory options

TECH RESOURCES

• Required additional hardware: the auxiliary fuel rail is designed for Bosch-style injectors (e.g. Injector Dynamics 1050.34.14.14.6) — injectors sold separately
• Requires the OEM oil filter cap; does not fit with the OEM engine cover (aftermarket cap fitment not guaranteed)
