Akrapovic Slip-On Line Titanium Exhaust - BMW X3M/X4M (F97/F98) S58

OVERVIEW

Constructed from high-grade lightweight titanium with parts cast in Akrapovič's in-house foundry, this axle-back system for the S58-powered BMW X3M and X4M combines performance with an incredible soundtrack and huge visual appeal. Manufactured entirely from titanium, it cuts weight while being structurally stronger than the OE system.

Akrapovič retained the dual-mode exhaust flap control from the original system: at low speed the car keeps a civilized but deeper-than-stock tone, while at higher RPM — or in S mode — the muffler is bypassed for a deep, sporty sound in keeping with the character of the car. Unwanted drone is eliminated throughout.

• Installation note: to fit the slip-on on its own, the stock exhaust system has to be cut. Read the Akrapovič installation instructions carefully before starting
• US-market fitment note: North American X3M/X4M models are non-OPF. Akrapovič's ECE type approval applies only to OPF/GPF-equipped (European) cars, so on US vehicles this system is intended for off-road and competition use
