The car's control unit expects to see the OE electronically-adjustable dampers — remove them for a set of mechanical coilovers and it trips a suspension fault and dashboard warning. The Bilstein B1 Active-to-Passive Suspension Conversion Kit solves it: a plug-and-play harness module that emulates the factory electronic dampers so the vehicle reads a healthy system — no warning lights, no aftermarket coding. Front and rear axle. This is Bilstein's own OE-quality service part, designed to pair with Bilstein B14, B16, and EVO coilover kits.
