do88 Transmission Cooler – BMW B58/S58 & Toyota Supra

OVERVIEW

The ZF 8HP automatic transmission is used across the B58-powered M340i, Z4 M40i, and GR Supra, as well as the S58-powered G8X M2/M3/M4 — and in every case, heat is a real limiting factor once the car has been tuned or sees regular track/drag strip use. The factory external liquid-to-air transmission cooler can be overwhelmed once heat output climbs beyond stock levels. The do88 Transmission Cooler is a drop-in, higher-capacity replacement designed to keep transmission temperatures in check under sustained hard use.

• Core volume: 184% larger core volume than the factory B58 cooler
• Cooling surface: 176% more active cooling area than the factory unit
• Tube design: Upgraded "harmonica" tubes with internal channels for optimal oil flow and maximum surface contact
• Fluid pressure: Maintains similar fluid pressures to the factory system despite the larger core, so no ECU/TCU recalibration is needed
• Fitment: OEM-style "Quick Connect" inlet/outlet connections for a true drop-in fit
• Compatibility: The B58 version is designed to pair with the do88 Front Intercooler Radiator (WC-400); the S58 version pairs with the S58 Front Intercooler Radiator (WC-430). Both install independently as well.
